The Jubilee bracelet was created specifically for the Datejust in 1945, the year of Rolex's 40th anniversary — hence the name 'Jubilee.' Its five-piece link design, with three larger center links flanked by two smaller outer links, creates a distinctive pattern that's immediately recognizable and supremely comfortable.
For decades, the Jubilee was considered the 'dressier' option — paired with fluted bezels and precious metals. But when Rolex put it on the GMT-Master II in 2019, everything changed. The Jubilee suddenly became the must-have bracelet, and the 'Pepsi on Jubilee' became one of the most desired Rolex configurations in history.
