The 16610LV - better known as the Kermit - is one of those Submariners that collectors go a bit crazy for. Rolex released it in 2003 for the Submariner's 50th anniversary, and it was the first Sub ever to wear a green bezel. The nickname comes from that famous Muppet frog.

Black dial, green aluminum bezel, and that distinctive contrast makes it instantly recognizable. Unlike the later ceramic models, the Kermit uses an aluminum bezel insert. Some people actually prefer this older look.

Under the hood, you've got the reliable 3135 movement with about 48 hours of power reserve. The 300m water resistance and counterclockwise-only bezel mean it's a legit dive watch, not just a looker.

The Oyster bracelet has the Fliplock extension - the predecessor to the Glidelock. The Triplock crown keeps water out where it belongs: outside.

Production ran from 2003 to 2010, and since then the Kermit has only gotten more collectible. It came before the Hulk and the Starbucks, starting the whole green-bezel Submariner thing.
