The 116610LN pretty much defines what a modern dive watch should be. That 40mm Oystersteel case paired with the black Cerachrom bezel looks serious without trying too hard. The LN in the reference stands for Lunette Noire – French for black bezel.
The black dial is about as legible as it gets. Those Chromalight-filled hour markers glow blue and last way longer than standard lume. The hands are nice and beefy for quick time checks.
The Cerachrom ceramic bezel is basically indestructible – won’t scratch, won’t corrode, won’t fade in sunlight. It only rotates counterclockwise, which is a safety thing for divers. You can’t accidentally overestimate your remaining air time.
With 300m water resistance, a Triplock crown, and that Glidelock clasp for on-the-fly adjustments, this thing is built for actual diving. Though most of them probably never get wet beyond a pool or a shower.
Rolex produced the 116610LN from 2010 to 2020. It was the first Sub to get the ceramic bezel and the improved 3135 movement – a real milestone in the Submariner lineup.

Ollie Baker –
I wanted a basic watch that looked nice, and this one delivers. Nothing fancy, but it does the job well.

Always dreamed of the most iconic submariner on my wrist. Although a replica, pricewise worth it for sure. Fits perfect with casual and formal outfits. Never thought a replica could make me so excited.
