Rolex Submariner 16618 40mm Blue Dial Yellow Gold

The 16618 is old-school gold Submariner. Full 18k yellow gold case and bracelet, deep blue dial, and – this is key – the classic aluminum bezel rather than ceramic. Collectors dig that vintage look.

Unlike the newer models, the bezel insert here is aluminum with a gold 60-minute scale. It has a different character than ceramic – some would say more charm. The bezel still only rotates counterclockwise for safe dive timing.

The Oyster bracelet in solid gold comes with the Fliplock extension – predecessor to today’s Glidelock. With 300m water resistance and the Triplock crown, you’ve got a real professional dive watch underneath all that gold.
