The Two Movement Tiers

Every watch on the site is a super clone, and the tier tells you which of two movements is inside. Most models are offered on both; four collections are Swiss only.

Miyota tier

$359

A Japanese Miyota automatic (Citizen / Miyota, Japan), the workhorse entry movement, with about 40 hours of power reserve.

Swiss tier

$999

A Swiss ETA-clone automatic with about 70 hours of power reserve, and the movement behind the chronograph, GMT and annual-calendar models. It is the better caliber, not a different class of watch. The Daytona is a chronograph, so it starts at $1,359.

Genuine calibers reflect current-generation references, with prior-generation calibers noted where we still carry those references. They are Rolex's own movements, not what is inside our watches: ours are named by type in the last column and in each product's spec table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Rolex models are Swiss only on SuperClone?+
Four collections are sold on a Swiss caliber only. The Daytona, GMT-Master II and Sky-Dweller need it for their chronograph, second time zone and annual calendar; the Land-Dweller is the newest reference. Their genuine calibers are the 4131, the 3285, the 9001/9002 and the 7135, and none of the four has a $359 Miyota option.
What is the difference between the Miyota tier and the Swiss tier?+
Both are super clones built to the same exterior spec; the tier names the movement inside. The Miyota tier, from $359, runs a reliable Japanese Miyota automatic. It keeps time and looks right, but the rotor, date mechanism and finishing are not Rolex-accurate. The Swiss tier, from $999, runs a Swiss ETA-clone automatic with about 70 hours of power reserve against about 40 hours for the Miyota, and it is the movement our chronograph, GMT and annual-calendar models are built on.
Is the movement in a super clone a genuine Rolex caliber?+
No. The genuine caliber column names the movement Rolex itself fits to that reference, and only Rolex makes it. Ours is a Japanese Miyota automatic or a Swiss ETA-clone automatic, made independently, so we name it by type rather than borrow a Rolex caliber number for it.
Does the Land-Dweller run at 5 Hz?+
The genuine one does. The 2025 Land-Dweller uses Rolex's new Cal 7135 at 36,000 bph (5 Hz) with the Dynapulse escapement, faster than the 28,800 bph (4 Hz) of every other current Rolex. Ours is not a 5 Hz build: it carries a Swiss clone caliber rather than a clone of the 7135, so the case and dial follow the new reference while the beat rate does not.
