Rolex Caliber to Clone Movement, Every Model Mapped

Want to know exactly what beats inside a replica before you buy? This reference maps every Rolex model we carry to its genuine in-house caliber, with the real specs, and to the clone movement that powers our version of it. No marketing fog.

The Two Movement Tiers

Every watch on the site runs one of two movement tiers. Some models offer both; four collections are Swiss only.

Japanese automatic

$359

A Miyota 9015 automatic (Citizen / Miyota, Japan), the workhorse entry movement: hand-winding, hacking seconds, automatic. Roughly 28,800 bph (4 Hz), about 40 h power reserve, 24 jewels.

Swiss “super clone”

$999

A movement engineered to clone the genuine Rolex caliber 1:1: same layout, same complication, correct date, GMT or chronograph behaviour. This is the tier the community means by “super clone.” The Daytona clones a chronograph caliber, so it runs $1,359.

Caliber Chart, by Model

Genuine calibers are the factory Rolex movements. The Swiss super clone column names the caliber our Swiss tier replicates. Tap a model to browse that collection.

Genuine calibers reflect current-generation references, with prior-generation calibers noted where we still carry those references. Clone caliber labels denote movements engineered to replicate the named Rolex caliber; they are not genuine Rolex parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Rolex models are Swiss only on SuperClone?+
Four collections are built only at the Swiss super clone tier: GMT-Master, Daytona, Sky-Dweller and Land-Dweller. Their genuine calibers (3285 GMT, 4131 chronograph, 9001/9002 annual calendar, 7135 high-beat) are complication-heavy, so there is no $359 Japanese option for these models.
What is the difference between the Japanese tier and the Swiss super clone?+
The Japanese tier is a reliable Miyota 9015 automatic at $359. It keeps time and looks right, but the rotor, date mechanism and finishing are not Rolex-accurate. The Swiss super clone at $999 copies the genuine caliber's architecture (for example Cal 3235), so power reserve, date-change behaviour, GMT or chronograph function and movement decoration match what sits inside a real Rolex of that reference.
Does the clone caliber number mean it is a genuine Rolex movement?+
No. A label such as Clone Cal 3235 means the Swiss movement is engineered to replicate Rolex's Cal 3235: same layout, same goal, independent manufacture. It is the closest a replica gets, not a genuine Rolex part.
Why does the Land-Dweller run at 5 Hz?+
The genuine 2025 Land-Dweller uses Rolex's new Cal 7135 at 36,000 bph (5 Hz) with the Dynapulse escapement, faster than the 28,800 bph (4 Hz) of every other current Rolex. The Land-Dweller is the only model whose Swiss build targets a 5 Hz clone.
