DIW (Designa Individual Watches) is the Danish atelier that pioneered the aftermarket Rolex mod scene, taking donor cases and reworking them with custom dials, bezels, and forged-carbon parts. The "Parakeet" nickname comes from the Tiffany-blue lacquered dial paired with the matching blue ceramic bezel insert, a color combination Rolex itself has never produced on a Submariner.
40mm 904L steel Oyster case retains the standard Submariner silhouette with crown guards and unidirectional 120-click bezel. The dial is the Maxi layout with applied round and baton indices, lume plots reading bright white against the saturated blue lacquer. Mercedes hands, no date aperture on this configuration so the dial stays symmetrical.
