The 126500LN landed in 2023 as the 60th-anniversary Daytona refresh, replacing the long-running 116500LN. Visually similar but mechanically updated: new caliber 4131 in the original (caliber 4130 lived 23 years), wider transparent caseback window, slightly reshaped lugs with thinner profile. The "Panda" nickname comes from the black sub-counter contrast against the white dial, borrowed from the Paul Newman-era 6263/6265 collectors.
40mm 904L steel case, polished bezel-edge against brushed flanks. Black Cerachrom tachymeter ring with platinum-coated numerals (a 2011 introduction for steel Daytonas). White lacquer dial, three black sub-counters at 3-6-9 in the classic reverse-panda layout, applied steel baton indices with Chromalight fill.
