Measure your wristThe Explorer II grew from 36mm (16570) to 42mm in 2011 with the 216570, and reference 226570 carries that 42mm proportion forward with the updated calibre-3285 architecture and slightly redesigned lugs. This is the white-rehaut sibling to the Polar dial: black sunburst with applied Chromalight indices, orange 24-hour hand as a nod to the cave-explorer heritage.
42mm 904L steel case, smooth fixed bezel engraved with the 24-hour scale, brushed Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock and Easylink 5mm extension. Mercedes hour hand, lollipop seconds, all lume-filled.
Available in two builds: Japanese Miyota 9015 at the $359 tier, or Swiss 3285-clone at $999 with the longer 70-hour reserve. Sapphire crystal, no Cyclops, screw-down crown. Wears flat thanks to the 12.5mm case height.
