Silver sunburst dial with applied yellow-gold-tone Roman numerals, the cleanest of the Day-Date dial configurations and the one favoured by collectors who want the reference to read as a dress watch rather than a status piece. Day window arcs across 12 in full English spelling. Date at 3 under the Cyclops. Fluted bezel in matching gold tone, the original Rolex grip-pattern from the era when bezels were screwed down by hand.
