The Cellini line was Rolex's formal-dress division, named after Renaissance goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini and discontinued in 2023 to make room for the 1908. Reference 50519 sits in the middle of the final 2014-2023 collection: 39mm, white-gold-cased in the original, rendered here in 904L steel with the same polished smooth bezel and double-bezel profile.
White lacquer dial with applied baton indices and slim alpha-style hour and minute hands. No date window, no running seconds subdial on this variant, just a clean two-hander layout. The 39mm case is slim at roughly 9mm thick, which lets it slip under a French cuff without catching.
Black alligator-pattern leather strap with steel deployant buckle. Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic in the $359 tier, Swiss clone caliber in the $999 spec. Sapphire crystal, domed and slightly raised above the bezel line for the period-correct dress-watch silhouette.
