The Cellini line was Rolex's dress-watch division from 1968 until its quiet discontinuation in 2023, named after Florentine goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini. Reference 50535 sits in the modern Cellini revival from 2014, when Rolex restructured the collection around classical proportions and traditional dial layouts.
39mm 904L steel case (the replica retains the steel finish rather than the gold of the original 50535), polished throughout with the double-bezel construction: a domed inner bezel inside the fluted-edge outer ring. Black lacquer dial, applied baton indices, slim leaf-style hour and minute hands.
Strap is black alligator-grain leather with a polished folding clasp. Sapphire crystal, no Cyclops (Cellini dials never carried one). Japanese tier runs the Miyota 9015; Swiss tier uses a 3132-clone with Paraflex-style shock absorbers. Wears thin under a cuff, around 9.5mm case height.
